In the latest Book Club, and last one of 2024, Tadd and Peter join the story with Hambry entering the rainy season. Eldred Jonas runs into Cordelia and takes her for a cup of tea as she spills the tea to him about her suspicions that Susan had slept with Will Dearborn.  We also see Rhea absorbed in the glass and being reminded of Susan and her plans for her. Jonas reeling from the idea that the boy had potentially put something so big over on him and goes to investigate Citgo where he finds the fallen Rook Skull. Jonas sets a trap and sleeps with Coral Thorin. And Musty shows up in Town

First up a reminder to get your nominations for our two brackets for March Insanity 2025, we have the traditional Dark Tower bracket (Favorite Spoken Line) and new this year a non-DT King Bracket (Most Hated Non-DT King Character). 2025 March Insanity Topics

As previously announced the 2025 March Insanity fan vote will now include two Brackets; the traditional Dark Tower bracket and starting in 2025 a non-Dark Tower King Bracket. We have topics (see below) but now through the end of the year we need nominations to fill the brackets out.

So send your nominations in, you can mention as many nominations for either bracket as you want. As is our standard the 16 that get the most nominations will make the bracket (and it will decided seeding once they make the bracket.

So get your nominations in before the end of the year!

In the penultimate Book Club for 2024 Tadd and Peter jump into Hambry as they begin the harvest and await the coming Reap Festival. Rhea makes up with Musty and the Glass while thinking of a way to pay Susan back. Alain and Cuthbert have it out with Roland and out of it comes and idea for moving to The Drop after warning the Town where they will be and when. The next day on the way Roland makes a mistake with Susan in the window and Cordelia sees, they give their schedule to Avery. Susan has a blow up with Cordelia about the wave from Roland. Avery and company rejoice at the stupidity of the boys, but Jonas doesn’t buy it.

In the 19th Book Club on the 19th Day of October 2024 Tadd and Peter visit Roland’s Second Ka-Tet as they realize the night is holding despite the long tale, and Roland warns them about the rest of the story but they want him to finish. In Mejis the Huntress moon and the Reap begins, and Roland and Susan are delirious in love at the expense of all other things. Cuthbert and Alain are beside themselves with Roland’s actions. Jonas talks about going to investigate the Bar K, and Rhea is livid that her plans with Susan were foiled.
